Why Do Some Couples Enjoy Anal Sex?
Men and women of all walks of life enjoy anal sex as an alternative to everyday lovemaking. It’s not for everyone, but anal sex may be what you’re looking for if you want to try something different. Though anal sex for many seems like a taboo activity, and much of society still shuns it, statistics show that roughly 35% of heterosexuals practice anal sex at least occasionally.
Anal sex is enjoyable for men because the tight anal sphincter rings provide strong sensations to a thrusting penis. Generally, for women, the pleasure derived from anal intercourse is due to the shared nerve endings located between the rectal wall and the vagina, and/or from indirect stimulation of the G-spot. The anus contains many nerves as well, which can also react in a pleasurable manner when excited. My post Anal Sex from a Female Perspective describes what anal sex feels like for a woman. If you want to try anal sex with your wife or girlfriend, but are uncertain of her reaction, use the approach I recommend in How to Make Her Want Anal Sex.
Another attraction of anal sex is that it is much more forbidden and not so popular among heterosexuals as vaginal sex or even oral sex. The thrill of breaking a taboo and venturing into forbidden territory is exciting and sexually stimulating for some people. They like the idea of pushing the sexual envelope and being daring and naughty.
For couples trying anal sex for the first time, choosing the best position may make the difference between a painful or pleasurable experience. Though doggie-style may be the most popular anal sex position, it’s not necessarily the best one for beginners. My article Which Anal Sex Positions Are Best for Beginners? describes several anal sex positions, and tells you which ones are best for beginners and why. To make your first anal sex experience a great one, follow my 10 Steps to Great First-Time Anal Sex.
These days more and more men are becoming interested in anal pleasure and comfortable with the idea of letting their female partners take control in bed, and some couples are even exploring male anal penetration by the female partner, a sexual practice known as Bend Over Boyfriend (BOB) or pegging. If you have never tried (or even heard of) this sexual practice, read my tutorial How to Bend Over Your Boyfriend and Make Him Like It.
Anal sex should not hurt. If it hurts, you’re doing it wrong. While people often experience pain when first attempting anal sex, as a person learns to relax, the pain often subsides into pleasure. With enough lubricant and enough patience, it’s entirely possible to enjoy anal sex as a safe and fulfilling part of your sex life.
If you want a complete guide to making anal sex the fun, pleasurable experience it should be, Arouse Her Anal Ecstasy focuses on how to introduce a woman to anal sexuality with a pleasurable and painless detailed step-by-step system. This book teaches exactly what to do and how to do it. You will give her incredible orgasms by stimulating multiple erogenous zones, and she will love it!

So my husband and I love anal and are so curious about making it exclusive. The only thing I can’t seem to get over is that whenever his cock is in my ass I turn into a dirty cum dumpster. Passion and “love making” are a must in our marriage, how do we make anal sex our everyday instead of vaginal . . . And how do I turn off the dirty dirty whore I become . . .so I can make this happen for our marriage.

Are you saying that you get so turned on by anal sex that it doesn’t seem like lovemaking? If you are, you might try using the missionary or spoon sex positions for anal sex. Both are much more intimate than doggy position. Getting turned on by your husband during sex isn’t a bad thing, though, you know. A lot of wives wish they could be.
