Nipple stimulation is usually assumed to be a sexual technique applied to women. Nipple stimulation in men tends to be thought of as kinky, but the truth is that our nipples, both women’s and men’s, have extremely sensitive nerve endings, thus making them highly responsive to touch and capable of producing extreme pleasure.
A recent study indicates that many men as well as most women enjoy having their nipples stimulated. Dr. Roy Levin of University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom and Dr. Cindy Meston of the University of Texas at Austin surveyed approximately 300 sexually experienced undergraduate students. The results strongly indicate that men enjoy nipple stimulation as much as women.
Almost 82 percent of the women responding to the survey reported that stimulation of their nipples increased their sexual arousal, and 78 percent said that, if they were already sexually aroused, nipple stimulation increased their arousal. Among the men, about 52 percent reported that nipple stimulation increased their arousal, while about 40 percent indicated that if already aroused such stimulation would arouse them more.
Men who are comfortable with their bodies and their sexuality are usually more open to experimentation. With a patient and persistent partner, most men can be introduced to and become comfortable with nipple play. Men’s nipples have the same nerve-packed pleasure receptors that women’s do. However, since men’s nipples are often neglected, and therefore not accustomed to stimulation, they might be supersensitive to touch. So make sure you start out gently, and then gauge how much pressure to apply by how he responds to your strokes.
You might begin by tracing the outside of his areola with your finger, brushing his tip as you complete full circles. Then, lick around his nipples, zeroing in on each tip by flicking your tongue back and forth, finishing up with a gentle bite. Or, place your lips over each nipple and gently suck. If he wants you to play a little rougher, try nipping him a bit harder, or tweak the tip between your thumb and forefinger. Try running your fingernails down his back as you suck his nipples. He will shiver with desire. Or stroke his shaft while softly kissing and nibbling on nipples.
Most men are so ”phallocentric” (focused on their penises) that they haven’t even begun to explore the uncharted seas of their own body or sexuality. They’re essentially ignorant when it comes to whole-body pleasures, including nipple stimulation. Little do they know the pleasure they could experience by expanding their present sexual repertoire.

Great advice! You shoudl definitely up the stimulation the closer a man gets to orgasm. Much like using a finger anally, the closer we are to cumming, the more the added stimulation arouses us. It is best to use both hands and squeeze/twist the nippples as we are just approaching and then as we are orgasming. The stimulation is incredible and it makes me scream with the intensity of the orgasm.

My wife tried nipple stimulation on me early in our marriage and it did nothing for me. Squeezing too had could cause pain, but I got no pleasure. Several years later, having read more on the subject (and being more sexually experienced in many other ways), I tried stimulating them myself. It took persistence, but gradually the sensations went from nothing, to a little something, to amazing. I think that this is why the percentages are so much lower for men than women. From what I understand, a women’s body has to learn to respond to breast stimulation too.
In any case, it is worth it to learn to enjoy if your body is wired for it. Sometimes it feels like a jolt of pleasure that runs down through my torso out to the tip of the penis, sometimes a warm pleasure centered deeper inside.
There is a grain of truth to what the manic-sounding individual in the comment above me says (people who have horrible grammar and spelling always speak very rapidly and spastically in my mind’s voice–you need to ask Jesus for some English lessons), in that the extra stimulation can hasten ejaculation, which is not always desirable. However, I’ve not found a quicker way to trigger an erection, even just minutes after an orgasm, and it does most definitely enhance orgasm.

Of course, sexual orientation has nothing to do with what feels good sexually, only to which gender one is attracted to. Nipple stimulation feels good to men – and women – regardless of sexual orientation.

I’ve discovered within the year that stroking my nipples through a tee shirt can bring great pleasure and brings me to an erection. I’ve never got to orgasm this way although some guys claim they can do so. My wife isn’t into sucking my nipples so I am wondering if there is something for men by which I could suck one or both nipples with a cup over the nipple and a tube to my mouth or to a pump. Not sure how well it would work for me but I’m curious whether it could be added pleasure.

Nipple play by stroking with a finger on each nipple does still give great pleasure and an erection. A question I have is about using a vibrator ring on the shaft of the penis while playing with my nipples. It seems it would enhance and give a more pleasurable experience and strong ejaculation. If anyone has done this please let me know.
